You awake the Songstress every night and ask her “To whom would you like to bestow the gift of song?”. The player indicates another player and you come up with a musical genre, tap the selected player and say “If I tap you, tomorrow you can only communicate in the genre of Opera.” Or country. Or pop. Or Disney. Or Regae. Or Rap. Or Death Metal. The genre should be common enough that the player has a chance of identifying it, and ideally the genre is not a particular singer’s style, unless that singer is exceptionally well known and you know the player would know that singer’s style.
Option: After you have some players in the After Life, ask them to write a genre on a piece of paper and give it to you during the day for use the following night. This technique helps to involve the After Life, who sometimes feel disconnected after being removed from the game.
